EMDR
What if I told you that you had the ability to heal your past trauma through the healing power of your own brain. Sound like hocus-pocus doesn't it? What we know about the brain and how it heals itself is only in the infancy stages but EMDR (Eye Movement Desentization and Reprocessing) has 30 years of evidence based studies backing it's efficacy in treating trauma and is the only approved treatment for veterans who have PTSD. Even though it is used for processing a major trauma like war, it also can provide relief for life's smaller, repeated concerns like shame, rejection, and humiliation.

EMDR is a approach that uses bilateral stimulation (rapid sets of eye movements or tapping) to help the brain update and re-program disturbing experiences. It transfers memories that get stuck in the right brain and heals the pain connected to that trauma. At the same time, it also frees you from the influence of negative core beliefs and updates trapped emotions so that you can enjoy life with a healthier, more positive present perspective.
